New baby!

Found this in the mailbox today:

Initial impression: Good Lawdy Miss Clawdy! This thing be big! 44mm excluding the crown, a full 50mm measured all the way 'cross the crown guard. My wife's first comment was "Are you going blind?"

Second impression: the lever-lock & guard on the crown are not terribly ergonomic...

Third impression, after setting the time & donning it: Good Lawdy Miss Clawdy! This thing be big and heavy! It weighs in at 192 grams including the bracelet. Hey, hopefully I won't be accused of wearing a "sissy watch" with this one, eh TMK?

The fit and finish, while not in the league of the real deal, are phenomenal for the price (US $53.98 inluding shipping). I was especially surprised to see a true solid-link bracelet at this price point...

Mind you, I'm not terribly fond of butterfly clasps. Overall, though, I'm pretty durned happy with this one!

More later, once I've given it some serious wrist time.
